DESIGNED BY THE ARCHITECTS VILHELM LAURITZEN
The building has been designed by the architects Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter and in doing so they have taken into consideration, and respected, the existing surroundings of the so-called Revue-quarter at Flintholm. The building expresses a flexible and dynamic transition from the station, over the centre and to the office area.
The responsible partners at Vilhelm Lauritzen are Thomas West Jensen and Torsten Stephensen.
MEANS OF ACCESS
Access to the retail shops will be directly from the station platform. Between the train tracks and the retail shops we will establish a square which provides direct access up to the street level. Also on street level, the shops and the cafés will face out on to the street.
To the north there will be a delivery yard with space for waste management. The access to parking is via a ramp which separates goods transport from private cars at the entrance to the ramp. The building provides many possibilities and a high degree of flexibility.
