In 2010 NCC Property Development bought Krøyers Plads with a view to develop the area and build on the site.
NCC's vision for the development of the area is as follows:
- The buildings should be of high quality and must include sustainable solutions, i.a. re. climate
- In a positive way the project should support the development of Copenhagen and Christianshavn
- The architecture should be in scale with the surrounding buildings in the area
- We should have a strong focus on the access to and utilization of the water, the quay area etc.
- The project should be developed in close dialogue with the residents in the area
