Our fleet of five sand and gravel dredgers annually recover about two million tonnes of raw materials.
NCC’s shipping company has a fleet of five sand and gravel dredgers, with loading capacities ranging from 340 m3 to 1150 m3. Three of the vessels are ISM and ISPS certified. Together, they annually recover about two million tonnes of raw materials from the seabed around Denmark, depositing it at our permanent dredging sites
at Esbjerg, Thyborøn, Nyborg, Århus, Avedøre, Gilleleje and Køge as well as supplying external customers at Hanstholm, Malmø and Gothenburg.
The raw materials are subsequently processed for use in the concrete and asphalt industries.
NCC endeavours to maintain high standards of maintenance and a well-kept fleet capable of living up to our strict requirements on raw material recovery and the working environment in busy everyday operations.
