NCC Business Services (NBS) is a Shared Service Center that delivers financial services to our Nordic companies within the NCC Group. We are approximately 100 employees working in process-oriented teams.

The role - CFC Manager
As a Country Financial Controller (CFC) Manager you will ensure compliance in local statutory reporting for all legal entities in the NCC group in an efficient way, as well as compliance in local tax reporting and tax reporting to Group.

You manage the CFC team with two members reporting directly to you.

As a manager together with the team you are responsible for:

  • Secure high quality and efficiency in statutory and statutory tax calculations and reporting processes.
  • Provide financial and tax expertise and secure fulfilment and communication of legal rules and policies.
  • Quality checks, financial analysis, and investigations to secure and assure figures on a legal basis.
  • Secure efficient processes for statutory reporting and statutory tax calculations and reporting.
  • Overall control for local legal structures per country including legal changes and legal administration.
  • Coordination of NBS part of mergers, acquisition, due diligence etc.
  • Leading the NBS Statutory audit process and take actions to meet audit remarks.
  • Contribute to higher competence level in statutory accounting.
  • Contribute to development and ensure common ways of working.
  • Contacts with local tax authorities in case of audits or other investigation.

You will be part of the Nordic General Accounting & Closing team, reporting to Manager of General Accounting and Country Financial Control in Sweden.

Your competence and experience:

  • Bachelor of Science and Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, a very good overall understanding within accounting.
  • Annual statutory reporting
  • Local Gaap and general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of local tax rules and regulations.
  • Experience from income tax calculations and reporting.
  • Experience from VAT reporting in Denmark is valued
  • Experience from the construction industry is valued, thus not a requirement
  • Auditing background is an advantage.
  • Experience from a large ERP system and system implementation is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Very good understanding of financial statements and local accounting principles, as well as a broad understanding of laws and regulations for accounting, tax, and VAT.
  • Very good accounting knowledge and knowledge in annual reports, income tax and VAT.
  • Very good understanding of financial processes and how the processes relate to connecting processes.
  • Very good skills in English, written and verbal.

Experience from an audit firm and statutory reporting and statutory tax reporting is seen as a merit.
