Would you like to help renovate the district heating network and thereby contribute to the security of supply in Copenhagen? Then become an intern at “NCC Forsyning”, where you will gain experience with the various phases of our projects and become familiar with management, finance and  tenders. We know that you are here to learn, so you will have the opportunity to be involved in everything, and you will return to your studies with more knowledge.

NCC Forsyning works on utility projects in Gentofte/Gladsaxe. On these projects, we are involved early on, right after the design phase.  This means that we are involved very early in the phase where dialogue with the client, the municipality, and the citizens takes place. We therefore have a significant influence in making the project succeed in a busy everyday life.

As an intern in our utility unit, you will be attached to our office environment in Gentofte. You will be involved in the section's meetings and activities and will have close and educational cooperation with both  salaried employees and craftsmen. You will be an important part of our team composed of both experienced and younger employees. You will get responsibility, but also sparring with skilled  colleagues who are ready to share their knowledge.

As an intern, you will work with:

  • Scheduling and management
  • Safety and work environment
  • Supervision and management of subcontractors
  • Coordination with blue collars and suppliers
  • Quality assurance
  • Procurement
  • Tender calculation

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a student in an engineering or construction program – if you also have a craftsman’s background, it is an advantage but not a requirement
  • English language skills in speech and writing. If you also speak Danish, Polish, Romanian, or Bulgarian, it is a great advantage.
  • Are ready to throw yourself into a steep learning curve and collaborate with many different professional disciplines
  • Have a good amount of assertiveness
